
Picks - Week 1
That time again where Phearless Phred steps
forward with his bold predictions on the outcome of selected
games. As always his picks are
ATS (against the spread). Phred
is bold but not foolish so week one offers only three games instead of his
usual five or six.
Might as well start by picking
against a home
dog.
The BROWNS are better in 08 but no match for the BOYS who will
be making a strong case to be NFC rep in
Look for Brian Westbrook to have 1000 combined
yards IN THIS GAME! On paper
the LAMBS did little to stiffen their vanilla pudding
defense. I look for Sir Donovan
(McNabb) to have a good year and for the IGGLES to make a run in the very
tough NFC East. PHILLY probably
possesses a top 12 or 13 defense as well.
This first of two Monday night games should
be a low scoring affair featuring two of the leagues tougher
defenses. RB Adrian Peterson
(VIKING variety) will have better match-ups as the season progresses and
so will QB Aaron Rogers but make no mistake,
